  1. Really? Interesting. I heard a rumor that if sales of the steez AGS were bad with the new prices they would be discontinued. Hopefully Daiwa US realized $669.99 for the steez AGS is too much. It would be awesome if they went back to $549.99. Any chance you could share where you’re getting this info from?
  2. Shouldn’t have an impact on JDM prices then.
  3. Thanks for posting. I was going to ask if there was anyway we could organize all of his articles to be accessible to all members, with the families permission of course. I think it would be a great way to keep his legacy alive on this forum.
  4. I’m definitely going to give it a shot down here in south Florida! Thanks for the tip!
  5. I can’t believe this. He was such an integral part of this forum and a wealth of knowledge. This is truly a major loss for all of us fishermen here at bassresource or in general. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I pray you find comfort and peace. Rest In Peace, Tom.
  6. My apologies. That reel in your original post (17 steez) looks identical to a steez A. It’s hard to tell which frame is which from pictures. Edit I think you might be confusing models. I see the 2016 steez is the magnesium sv The 2017 steez is the aluminum A model. They both appear to have the same body style, right? That’s what I meant. The shape. I should have said body instead of frame.
  7. Cool! Thanks! Do you trim the skirt at all? Oh and what length worm do you normally use?
  8. Is the 17 steez the same frame as the steez A/AII?
  9. Sweet! Does that combo catch a decent amount of fish for you?
  10. Same here! Can’t wait for daylights savings!
  11. Merry Christmas to all of you!
  12. Is the bottom pic a buckeye mop jig with a big worm?
  13. I’m interested in this. I have some buckeye mop jigs and they’re pretty darn big. Not sure the hook size but the skirt is loooong.
  14. How does he fish it? what is what here?
  15. Very cool! Thanks for posting the comparison picture! It definitely looks like a high quality spinnerbait!
  16. If we’re adding in colors we’d like to see, I’ll toss in “sexy mouse” and “spot remover”. Or something like “BHite Delight” would be amazing too! Spot remover: Sexy mouse: BHite Delight: Hope it’s ok to add photos for reference! I’ll delete if it’s an issue!
  17. You’re probably right. My champion extremes are the most sensitive rods I own, so I’m always curious how other rods compare. Thanks.
  18. Do you have any experience with the champion extreme? If so, how does it’s sensitivity stack up in your opinion?
  19. I really like that! Looking forward to see what other colors you add!
  20. That spinnerbait looks nice! Great price too! Any chance you have a picture of it next to a full size spinnerbait for comparison sake?
  21. Yep. As stated above, if ordering from digitaka it’s a 10% charge. Other places may charge the full tariff amount for Japan which is 15%. So to your question, if ordering from digitaka, a 350 dollar reel would cost an additional 35 dollars.
  22. I absolutely love them. Very versatile. Burn a mag uv speed worm along the surface, swim it through vegetation, drag it on the bottom etc etc.
