Why are so many giant bass caught in winter?

Holy EEF.   That’s a long post.  And all over the place!!!!  Haha.  
 

I just fish.  If I get a biggie I’ll post a pic.  Haha.

@Dogface yeah it was not the typical fall for sure. I have had some great size around thanksgiving. Once December hits any fish js a bonus haha.

Man’s 12 month calendar doesn’t apply to bass it’s all about water temperature where the bass are located. Bass winter is when water temps drop below 50 degrees for FLMB and 45 for NLMB.
