bps extreme

Featured Replies

I was wondering how this rod paired up to other rods in its price range? I am going to purchase this with shimano stradic.

Paired up with the stradic this combo is an excellent value. The rod is a very nice one especially at the combo price. I think you will be very pleased.

I have a few extremes. Excellant rods and lately they've been on sale for only $70.

I have 4 Extreme's, I am not dissapointed in any of them. The are great rods at the normal $99, but fot the $69 that they are offerd at now........nothing touches them.

The combo i am looking at is only an unbelievable $140 for the stradic and the rod. If you put it into perspective, if you were paying full price for the reel, the rod comes with it for next to nothing.

i just bought one the other day to replace a rod i busted 6 inches off the tip.got a 6-6- mh spinning rod 1 piece.everyone i know who owns them likes them.

i like them alot. those are the only rods that i own, andi heard from some friends that i will be completly satisfied with them until i try higher end rods. if you get one though, make sure to get the weight balance kit,it helps alot.

They are really nice rods for the price I got 2 of them.

I have the a 6.0 M baitcaster for about a year, it has become one of my favorite shore fishing rod, I love the handle more than anything else. She lives in my truck

Nice rod ,u ll like it

Love 'em.

Good rods that perform very well.

You will not have any problems with them, other than if someone steps on it and breaks it.

I love mine. Too bad the tip broke but I fixed it and the rod still works very well. I bought the Extreme rod & reel combo for $99 plus tax. Great value.

I worked at Bass Pro for 3 years. Everytime they had combos on sale I bought one. Like someone said the combo price is awesome. I have the Woo Daves crankbait set up, totally awesome. It's now the only rod and reel I use for a crankbait. The Spring Classic is coming up and it should be on sale for $160.00. It might be a little more with inflation. The Shimano reels are $120.00 by themselves.

Well, i ended up getting this for christmas. The only thing is, i was given the combo with the pfluger president, which is still awesome, and i believe performs as well as the shimano side by side. Anyways, i didnt get to use the rod. I was given the 7' MH, and i wanted the 7'M. But we worked it out and i am getting the different rod, but im going to keep the reel.

I have 5 of them... They can't be beat for the price.

What do you plan on using with this set-up, because I have a 7' MH and love it for worm fishing

The new combo sounds great!  ;D I have a couple of extremes and I don't think you will be disapointed with yours.  Do not be too quick to dis the Pfluger.  I read a lot of good things on the board about them.  I have a Pfluger fly reel that I have had for a lot of years (about 35 but I hate to admit it :) ) and it still works like a charm.

I have some and when on sale are a great rod for the money. I also have and used the Bionic Blade and Johnny Morris rods also good rods for the money when on sale.
