Hard swimbait storage

Featured Replies

How do you guys store your hard swimbaits?

Soft are easy as you can just keep them in the package.

But hard are a little more difficult, especially those with say a brush tail. Don't want that getting damaged.

Thanks

At home, I have 12" deep wire shelves with snap swivels zip tied to them and hang all the baits.  Pegboard can work, too.  In the past, I've had plastic storage boxes about 12" tall that I drilled out the lid and did the same swivels thing, too.

On the water, either wraps or sleeves (like spro or deps) or just loose in a deep single compartment box.  When I get home the get hung back up.

Both of you have mentioned the sleeves.

I've never seen those before. Thanks

Spro sells them now too a little cheaper than the deps. Probably others around too these days.

Do they not technically shut?

You just slide it in there and the opening doesn't snap/zip shut?

you squeeze them vertically to open the sleeve and drop in your bait, then they hold with tension

Gotcha, that's what it kinda looked like.

Just ordered the Spro sleeves from Omnia.

Not sure I want to put a wet one in there right away but they seem like a good way to store dried.

Thanks

No they are open ended to allow for air circulation

I use Pelican case and hard camera cases for my 100 plus hard swimbaits .

I've tried getting my wife into fishing but she won't have any part of it.

She brings a book and works on her tan.   LOL
