@islandbass Those Shad Raps are really under estimated lures. I use them year round, though most think of them as cold water lures. They are great whenever the fish are finicky. Not many folks use them and because they have a pretty slender profile, lots of fish aint seen them.

I am so much of a fan that I am going to buy a specific rod just for them. I'm looking at the Bass Pro Crankin' Stick in ML.

Welcome to BR Evan. Sounds like you have a good multi-species background already that will help you in all aspects of bass fishing.

Hi Evan! Another newbie here, complete beginner. Just finished 3 day course and received first license . Excited to find interesting info here

Howdy @gillrich! Welcome to the forum. What is this 3 day course you mentioned? Like a bass fishing primer?

Hey Evan, welcome to the forums.

As others have said, you do write pretty good especially for a modern day (AI era) 14 year old. Are you sure you're really a 14 year old and don't just play one on the Internet? (kidding)
