Mid-October sunsets like this are truly special and pretty rare.

Warm, flat calm and the brown bass are chewing.

We’ll be looking at hard water soon enough, but I’m in no hurry.

Big chonker on the swing-head jig. That water is so beautiful. The clouds reflecting on the water makes it look magical!

Stunning color that fish has.

How far from shore were you? It can be difficult to tell at times on video. Was that brown bass shallow or deep?

I was fishing a long main lake point and dropoff that starts right on the bank

and extends out about 400 yards. This time I was fishing about halfway out.

Smallies use the whole structure at different times and seasons.

They keep me guessing for sure.
