What size split rings do you guys use to replace stock split rings on 1.5 squarebill and lipless crankbaits?

Are you asking about the ones holding the hooks onto the lure?

2’s and 3’s depending on the brand.  A #3 isn’t necessarily the same size across all so pick a brand/style you like and get 3 sizes- the one you think is right plus minus one.  

^ I find that the Owner #2 and #3 cover 90%+ of all my round split-ring needs.

I use size 3 Owner Hyperwire split rings for the hooks, and a size 4 (but you could downsize to a 3) Owner oval split ring for the line tie.

 

I have also used the Gamakatsu Superline split rings to good success when I could not get a hold of the Owners.
