Spinning vs Casting for Tubes – What’s Everyone Running These Days

Featured Replies

I don't fish tubes that often but when I do my setup is a Baitcaster 7' F/M with 15FC. I also use stupid tubes.

If I'm fishing a bigger, flipping style tube on a T-rig in cover, then it's casting gear. For the smaller tubes that I typically fish on a tube head, I fish them on spinning gear.

Thanks, folks. I’m sticking with the spinning rod — it just plain works. I was really just searching for an excuse to feed the monkey on my back, but hey, sounds like I’ve now got a better reason to snag a 16GB 5060 Ti video card instead!
