Damiki Vault hooks

Featured Replies

Looking for some replacement hooks for 1/2oz Damiki Vaults. Any recomendations?

I like BKK Hyperlatch 70-S UL or Owner ZoWire STX-38ZN for blade baits & jerk baits. Mostly sizes 4,5,6 & 8.

Like others said I really like the STX-38s for blade baits or lipless, but have also used the Ryugi Pierce Trebles or Gamakatsu Nano Finesse Trebles, size 5 I believe. Those are my go-to's in deeper cold water applications where I'm not as worried about getting fish out of cover. Smaller hooks I wouldn't wrench on but they're strong for their size.

Just curious.... why? Straightened on snags with braid?

I find stock to be fantastic- I have always lost a vault long before considering replacing hooks )

But....if I could get my hands in vault blanks, I'd be excited to get hooks for them.

The hooks on the baits I got didn’t seem scary sharp. If I’m fortunate enough to hook into the fish of a lifetime I don’t want the hooks (or any of my gear) to be the issue.
