Very few things get under my skin, some of the replies here did. A lot of my buddies on the forums knew how much I wanted a Trion , so when I was finally able to get one I put it up . I can not afford 500 dollar reels, nor do I have someone to buy then for me. This was not posted to argue Pflueger against any other product. I was just sharing my joy with my friends.So why can't I just do that without some mooks just looking to knock or compare, stuff it fellas :-/

Muddy, I don't even know you, yet I know I like ya! Forget what everyone said. You got the reel you want and that's all that matters ultimately. I think Pflueger makes a great product. Not a thing wrong with them. I bought what I bought, because it was what I wanted at the time. You bought what YOU bought because you knew what you wanted. I'm glad for ya. Wish you were down in the south & we could hit a lake! In any event, furget it.

                Muddy, I own a President, Summit and a Trion. All are killer reels. I hope your dream has come true with that reel. I have nothing bad to say about Pflueger reels. I'm going to own a Supreme soon.

Not a thing wrong with PFLUEGER. My dad has since passed away, in his life time caught more fish with a zebco 808 than most people on this site combined.

not to rub it in or anything muddy, but I have a president already and a supreme on the way   ;D ;D

Pflueger makes the best reels for the money, but shimano has the best reels if your looking to spend 200-500 bucks. This is something I will always say and you can't argue until you own one of the higher end pfluegers.

Muddy Man I don't have the Trion but I have heard it is a great little reel and I hope you catch come PA lunkers on it!

Glad to see you finally got what you wanted.  I am in the same boat as I recently got 2 Revos and love them to death.  I think I may have to try out a Pflueger to see what they are like.  COngrats man.  And like RW said, wheres dad fishies?
