Just ordered my new combo 2 days ago...

Pflueger Supreme w/ a 6'6'' MH Kistler Graphite Plus. This will be my first Kistler, and these rods are very reasonably priced. Heck I am 15 years old and it doesnt put that much of a dent in my pocket. This reel sounds amazing and I can't wait to test it out. It has 11 BB so it should be as smooth as butter and I hear the freespool on it is remarkable!

So what do you all think, could I have gotten a better casting combo for 300 bucks?

I have a couple of Johnny Morris Signature series reels, and if they are not Pfleuger Supremes, with BPS logos installed, then I'll eat my old knickers. These are great reels. A buddy of mine swears by Kistler rods. I've tried a couple of his, and they are a superior rod for the money. I think you'll really enjoy using that setup.

they did the same thing with the pflueger trion, it's the exact same reel as BPS micro lite reel.

i have a supreme and it's a great reel. i'm thinking about getting a supreme spinning reel soon...

Probably a great combo, I would of opted for a Revo SX with a St.Croix Avid, or the Revo S or SC with the Kistler MG.  But thats only because I have 2 Revos and love them both...they have a monster drag.

Is it a Pflueger only posse? Or can it be Pflueger/Daiwa/Abu Garcia/Bass Pro Shops/Quantum/Fenwick/All-Star/St Croix/Berkley/Cabela's/ and Any thing BUT Shimano,Flurocarbon line and G.Loomis posse..........if so I'm in.

: Lets all just face the one agreable fact that we all share, we enjoy bass fishing! One other aspect that I would ask everyone on this site to realize is that we all have different walks of life, some people have outstanding balances on their credit cards and others only have one credit card and average a monthly bill that most people would die for. There are people in here who are not so forunate in the financial part of life as others and this should be considered when posting responses. Respect the fellow angeler for you never know whom it is you might be dealing with or crushing their dreams of having gear that they can truely afford. To each his own, keep your sacrism as your own! Congrats Bassassasin on your new setup and I hope you have many enjoyable hours of use with this gear. 8-)

I agree that some of it is in good humor but I have noticed other statements that most people would say are not of the humor type, oh well.

Bassassasin12  you are 100% correct about it being in good humor.  100% of the post about equipment that I make or answered is kidding.  

It make no difference to me what equipment a fellow used.  If he wants to use a cane pole and a bobber it is ok.

Take your equipment and have fun with it.  Bud

We already did, where you been man??  we are still waiting for the shimano posse to put up a video so we can compare notes.  I think they are having issues getting footage.  ;D
