I can respect your opinion on much of this. Clearly you've fished many of these water bodies so there's some leverage there.

I don't see any other country-wide rankings of bass fisheries out there though, so this is what we use. I like data, and this has at least some element of that used. Tournament bags are raw data, and the data doesn't have an opinion. That's all I'm saying.

I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands of places to bass fish that aren't mentioned. Perhaps that's by design too. Once a lake is on this list, it often gets highly pressured. I remember when Mille Lacs first entered the foray here. It was a blitzkrieg. So maybe not getting mentioned may be a blessing in disguise in that respect.

Yep,

Completely Agee, we see it happen every year.

And how the heck do they not include Lake Menderchuck

Because it is a list of all the top lakes in the US. BASS doesn't even no what planet Menderchuck is on. All those big brown bass can't possibly come from one place on Earth.

Ha! Before I settled into fishing my pond and my pal's pond for the sake of convenience, as I keep a boat at each pond, I fished about a dozen different ponds in my area. In terms of quantity and quality, they were similar to my pond and my pal's pond. Two were better, both bogs, but they both require more effort to fish than my pond and my pal's pond. I'm just happy that I have a lovely place with healthy bass to share with people like Bob, the Hero, and the Kid and his dad:
