If you're using heavy leader, above 15lb, a triple surgeons knot works for me. It's not the strongest knot but quick and easy to tie.

The only braid to leader I use in on a couple of my spinning rods. I've been using the Shin knot. Not too bulky and they've been holding up well.

Shin Fukae knot has been my go to ever since I was introduced to it 5 or 6 years ago. Easy to tie, and have yet to have the knot break.

It can potentially feel a little funky running through your guides depending on line diameter, guide size, and leader length. I think that con is worth all the pros.

Make sure to neatly trim your tag ends, particularly if you're fishing with so much leader the knot is going to go into your reel. When trimming make sure you're not nicking the knot or main lines, which can lead to failures.

This is my goto knot as well. It's never failed me and it's easy to tie just about everywhere. And what like just as well, is the floro/mono tag points away from the end of the line which makes it harder to foul up your braid on a cast by getting snagged in a guide. (I know, trim it better, but it still can leave a tiny tag even then.).

I've been tying the FG recently, which also points the floro/mono tag in the opposite direction. But I can't ever see being able to do that out on the water.
