Depends on where you are and the cover.  Where I fish it is open water and 10# works fine.  In heavy stuff you will need a lot more.

I've used lines ranging from 8# mono to 15# braid. Like the man said, it depends on the cover, plus personal preferences.

20+ for buzzbait

6-17 for soft plastic depending on bait, presentation and cover conditions

10-17 for cranks depending on crank depth and cover conditions.  I use 10 for deep divers and 14-17 for shallow.
