Hey i just bought a new Quantum Im8 6 foot 6 rod and i am having problems picking out a good reel for it does anyone have any ideas of what i should get for it?

Its spinning but i would like to spend under $50.

You may be able to find a Shimano Symetre on sale for something pretty close to that.

I have a couple of the (Shimano) Sedona spinning reels.  If memory serves me correctly, I paid $49 each for them.  Bay far the best $50 reels I have used.

Since RW gave you a reel a little above your limit, I'll go a little below and mention the Shimano Sonora for $39 at Wally World.
