St Croix Avid...

Featured Replies

Just a "heads up", BPS has them in clearance for prices around $112 (spinning and baitcsters)

For those of you guys with the Bait Monkie working even on Labor Day weekend...

Tight lines, Alex

Yep this was posted a week or so ago.

I bit on it because none of my local stores had them for 80 bucks or less.

Was going to get one anyway so I jumped on it. Mine came in last week and now I'm just waiting for my new reel. The rod is nice though. Better than anything I have owned before.

Anyone know anywhere online to get these sort of deals?  I do not have a Dicks or anything close and would like a few of these rods.  Thanks.

Here is the BPS sale:

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_29742_100002002_100000000_100002000_100-2-2

The baitcasters are on sale, too, I just didn't copy them. Dick's has a better price, but their selection is limited and I guess that's not an option for you anyhow. The deal at BPS is pretty good and if you are looking for a SPECIFIC model, you better jump on it. This is a liquidation sale to make room for the new Avids, there will be no backorders.

RW is right; you'd best jump on it now. I was just at BPS in St Charles and got the last 6'8" MXF they had. There were about ten rods, at this price, left in this store. When they're gone, they're gone.

Cheers,

Better get a hold of one soon. The Dicks Sporting Goods by me had one left, a 7'' M Fast but no Shimano Stradic 2500 to put on it  :'(

i got the last one at my local dicks & used the $10 coupon & got it fot $69....cant beat that!!!!

i have a feelng that bass pro will drop the price of theirs even more as the year ends..
