After taking your advice, and spending all that money on a new outfit, and then listening to the suggestions as to what to say to the wife, I've come up with a solution that seems far better than diamond earrings!

What I thought I should say was that in order to justify the cost, I would have to go fishing at least 3 times a week for the next year. If I can average 10 lbs of fish per week that would be 520 lbs for the year, and at a mere $1.00 per lb, that would more than pay for the outfit. I also would say that if my average lbs weren't high enough, I might be forced to go fishing 4 or even 5 days a week; and that I would be willing to make that sacrifice for her.

Whatda ya think?

I think you better find a good divorce lawyer so you don't lose that nice rod and reel in the settlement.

I'm assuming that you're bigger than she is? If so, try to stay on your feet as you should have the reach advantage, parry what she throws until you can get to an exit and protect your face. If she shoots and tries to take it to the ground, sprawl. Good luck dude.
