Did anyone get there Shimano rebate money back yet? I sent mine out the 2nd week of January. And nothing as of yet!!!!

From what I understand when you get the rebate, it's on like a postcard.  Some people say it looks like it's junk mail, so be careful when you get your mail & check to make sure it a postcard check.

I think that's what mfg's are doing now, sending rebate checks in postcard form.  So be caeful what you throw away!

I don't know about anyone else but mine wasn't in a postcard looking thing... It was in a very official looking Shimano envelope...as soon as I saw the letter I knew what it was at once.  I sent mine in mid january (I think) and got it about 2 weeks ago.

I have gotten a few rebates on these "cards" also.  At first I didnt notice it was an actual check untill I saw the routing numbers at the bottom and looked at it closer.  

It really does look like those junk checks you get in the mail.   I think these cards are a raw deal for customers because I bet many of these are thrown out and not redeemed within the 90 day period.  They probably save a lot of money on shipping also.

So be careful and look at what you are throwing out if your are expecting a rebate!

I don't think you should worry yet.  give it another week or two.

You can always call them and ask them to resend also.  They may make you wait a little while to make sure  that it isnt still on the way.  But their computers should have your name and the check number on file.  They can check automatically if you deposited the check or not. Its all automated nowadays.  In fact they probably have a rebate department.  Give them a call in  a few weeks I say.

One of the rebait checks came in the mail today. So now I have one more to wait on. And it did say Shimano on the letter. ;D :) 8-) :

I haven't received mine either.  Been over 4 weeks since they received my info.

i dont uderstand why shimano didnt let the retailers give the dicount at the check out and sent the checks to the retailers

I just got my rebate from Quantum today. Sent the rebate stuff off the second week of Jan.

Its funny you say this...the check I got today is issued to who? Sports Authority  

I'm going to take it to the bank next week to see what happens. Just going to leave it in the envelope attached like I received it. Fingers crossed.

Quantum always gets their rebate checks out as soon as possible, they have the best costumer service in the industry.
