Welcome aboard!

I don't fish braid, but you will have several suggestions shortly.

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of the three you mentioned , I prefer sufix. You're going to get many differant opinions here.

I have been using Power Pro for about 5 years and have no problem recommending it to my friends.

Power Pro here.

Love the stuff.

Actually I hate braid, but when I'm frog fishing it's mandatory, and Power pro is by far the best I've found.

For baitcasting gear with spinnerbait type baits, I like Spiderwire Stealth and for other baits I prefer Stren Super Braid. I like Stren Super Braid for spinning gear. I don't like the rough texture of Power Pro and some of the others.

I am going to try 10 & 12 lb. Stren Microfuse for throwing on spinning gear for smaller shakey head jigs. Also will try this on baitcaster for flippin. Have heard this casts great on spinning, lower vis in water, and does not get dirty like Fireline. After reading comments posted, I will have to try the Spectra Power Pro. What lb. size are you all using for flippin/pitchin? Other uses for braid.

ther was a poll fo braids on here recently and sufix won with %42.i suggest sufix.

The only braid I use on a baitcaster is for frog fishing and I use 50# in either Power Pro or P-Line Spectrex both are good lines for me. I use 20 or 30# Stren Super Braid on one spinning reel, it is softer and more manageable on a spinning reel.
