I will be going to LA next month fishing Around the Gibson area. I am looking for a place to stay where I can charge the boat at night. Anyone know of a good place.

Title says it all, I am considering these rods below. Dont want to spend over $200 and dont want a telescopic rod. Im a big Kistler user but cant find anything in the 7'10" non telescopic range besides a Z Bone but dont have that kind of cash on me. is it 3.5 above the pad or below the pad and I think the 24p fury would be too much for you to turn, Merc told me to drop down a size when going to a fury. I went from a 25p tempest plus @5800 to a 24p fury at same rpms on a 200hp

Planning on buying a new unit really want the 8 but dont know if I want to spend the extra cash for the SI when I can get a 997c for around the same cost as the 8. What are your guys opinion

I just bought a new HDS system for my boat and I already have a 520c with GPS and was wondering if I could use the same External antenna on it and if so how and what do I need?

1 I am using GPS for speed 2.I dont know if it is water logged any why i can check but I can tell you I never have to run the bilge pump it is always dry as a bone 3 Engine never on dyno but the compression has been check several times and Yes I am running a 6" jack plate

I own a 1988 Skeeter 18.5' with a 150 Merc Blackmax. I have a problem getting this boat over 49-50mph just wont do it, I'm running a 23pitch tempest plus and its three inches below pad. We have tried different props, raising motor and still nothing anyone ideas oh and compression on the boat is great .
