Looking for line for my soft plastic rig mostly for t-rig drop shots and c-rig, and I am using a baitcasting reel

t-rig - braid or flouro depending on cover

dropshot - flouro

c-rig - braid with a mono leader, flouro sinks and doesn't help the action of the bait

What power rod are you using?  How heavy of cover are you fishing?

30-50lb braid would be my choice, adding various leaders as necessary

I don't think there is a "best", just "favorite".

For me:

Spinning tackle: Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 (.010" diameter, 11.9 lb test)

Baitcasting gear: Ultra Soft #12 (.013" diameter, 19.5 lb test)

Baitcasting - T Rig - Currently between 15# Sufix Siege, 15# P-Line CXX, and 15# Trilene 100% fluoro. As you can see I can't decide!

C-Rig - 50# Sufix braid w/ 15# Big Game leader.

Pitch / Flip - 17# P-Line CXX or 65# Stren Braid depending on location.

Drop Shot / Shakey Head - 10# Sufix Elite but looking to change to an 8# fluoro as soon as I find one i like.

I agree there's no best answer only preferences.
