MH rod for my Revo STX?

Featured Replies

Help me pick a good MH rod for my Revo. I want a general purpose rod and I would like to keep it at 250.00 or less...

Fenwick Techna AV 7' MH/F (AVC70MHF).  About $210.  According to people that own both, fully the equal of the G Loomis IMX.  Lifetime warranty.

Agree on the Fenwick Techna AV, also the St Croix Legend Tournament 70MHF.

I have the STX saddled to a St. Croix Avid AC66MF. I consider this a excellent "all-around" baitcaster. I fish spinnerbaits, buzzbaits topwater, and jerkbaits on this rig. You could fish jigs and soft plastics, which I have, but the tip is too soft for my taste. What I really like is how the combination "works" jerkbaits and topwater, that is where the rod really shines.
