The Mattlures rods and Hardbaits look freakin AWESOME!!!

Seriously, that baby bass wake hardbait is just plain sick!!!

Matt, any idea on the price or when they just might be available?   :)

Wayne

No doubt that bass wake looks awesome.

Those are some nice lookin rods and that Bass bait is amazing!

Lookin' forward to the release of the rods.   I just ordered some Mattlures baits and need a rod to throw them.

Yes! That hard bait is awesome. That thought of a yellow perch hardbait that looks that good is making me drool.

I'm very interested in the price of the rods too. That's just the prototype and it looks sweet. Can't wait to see the finished product.

This one has to be my favorite Icast peek so far.

I'm Glad to see him doing so well.I wish him the best of luck with his creation.I'm gonna have to wait and see what his rods are gonna be priced at..since i'm still waiting and wanting a swimbait rod,why not get one from no other than the guy who gives awesome advice on swimbaiting here?

That's awesome!  Matt, the +T rear grips are a fantastic idea!!  The last 2 x-long handled rods I built for swims were cut off to regular length because they were in the way too often.  Major props to you on that idea!!

And the bait looks like a piece of artwork, not a lure!

Your are a true pioneer!

I 'll   :-?........be  :).......danged !  :) ......... BaitMonkey HERE I COME !!!!!  8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

You guys rule! Thanks for all the kind words.

I wont give any details (disrespectful) on availability and price etc. on here.

However I will say that I have been having fun working on new projects. Designing rods aint as easy as I thought it would be and took a lot more work then I expected, but I am very pleased with the results.

The hard baits have been brewing for a while I just never had enough time to get to them. I have a bunch of different species and sizes and different variations. Some have multiple joints, different joint styles, different bills etc. I just showed that one bait as a little teaser. Who knows that particular version may never get released. But I assure you a bait made from that (my) origanal carving will be and fairly soon.

Icast was a blast. I got to meet a bunch of people and see some cool stuff. Unfortunatley I did not run into Glenn. I looked for him but never found him. I am not suprised as the place is huge and there were a lot of people in there. I am sure Glenn will have some cool stuff to show you.

Matt,

I looked for you each day, but couldn't find you.  I didn't realize you were sharing a booth with Reaction, otherwise I would've beelined it over there.

Catch ya at the next show.  :)

Yeah I was looking for you to. I wasnt sharring a booth. I hate sitting in booths selling. I am not a salesman. I was just walking around talking with everybody. The Trophy tech guys were showcasing my rods for me.  It like a big reunion every time I go to one of those. Its fun. I doubt I will go to the next one. its going to be in FL.  Thats a long ways away from me. Maybe the the one after that  :)
