Having issues with a Supreme spinning reel and of course their site is down.

It wouldn't be issues with the drag would it ?

No, it would be issues with the   line clip on the spool and what happens to the reel when you cast a 1/4 oz. bait and the line gets caught on that clip.

I had the same problem w/my supreme , all i did was heat up the tab and bend the point of the tab closer to the spool , it hasn't happened since .

The tab isn't the problem anymore.  

The problem is that when the line caught on the tab, it bent the shaft.
