what color

Featured Replies

what is your favorite color mono was getting reddy to line a reel and just woundering.

Lo-Vis Green for most water conditions.

I used to fish clear, until I realized how fast clear turns to white. These days I prefer green. It's closest to matching the water color I fish.

If you decide to try Yo-Zuri Hybrid, Green is the color for clear water, smoke blends best in stained water.

RW, you need to sit down and write a book man. Seriously. You have too much knowledge NOT to. I'd buy it!  :)

Trilene XL Clear Blue Fluorescent.

Falcon

Yo-Zuri Hybrid Camo Green is also great and cheap at BPS, $4.88 for a 850 yd. spool of 8#.

X2

I totally agree with Falcon, but will buy regular Sten clr/blu/flo when the store doesn't have Trilene XL. These are "musts" when i'm using soft plastics or jigs. Cranks and spnrb8s- don't care what color as long as it's mono.  :-?

Just wondering why the Yo-Zuri is so inexpensive compared to a lot of other lines like Stren, Trilene, etc. I have never used Yo-Zuri but I am considering giving it a try.  I noticed too that the 800 yard spools were 1/2 the price of the 275 yard spools.  Is there a difference between those two that I'm missing?

I agree with Eddie Munster, you need to write a book. I just started with this site and hes givin me more info than i ever even new ;D
