Know where I can find a good shakey head style jig with an EWG hook?  I love Spot Removers and the kind with cork-screw heads but I want an EWG hook for using senko style plastics.

Here is the best one of that style I have tried for senkos. I think it is called a Shake Up jig from Strike Zone Lures. It comes through cover better and is the only spring type jig that I have found that has a high hook up precentage. I has a beefy hook, stand up football head and comes through weeds, rock and wood better than others due to the unique design. I havent been able to find it on the web but can get you a phone number if you want some.

This guy is one of the fastest and friendlyest sellers I have delt with.Usually adds a free gift or two upon purchase.

If you can imagine that head with a little corkscrew where the weedguard would be, and very little collar is what I use the most.

I also bought some tru-tungstens in a clearance bin for 10 cents each. Couldnt pass that one up ;D

I've also used alot of slyder pro heads and they are good too. But my modified jighead is my favorite.

I don 't think I 've ever seen one with a built-in cork screw bait holder with that kind of hook but that can be solved, just clip in a HitchHiker clip by Tru Turn in the hook eye.

The ones I showed are made by Zipper, Owner has ones just like those. *** baby  

I believe it is Damon lures that has those in Stainless Steel.

My question is why do you think you need a EWG hook? I pour mine on a 60 degree flat eye 4/0 (most shakey heads are 2/0 or 3/0) and have no problems with hookups. Remember you have to balance your tackle for the fishing situation. Look at those jig pics that GMAN posted, now that is a medium-heavy 28 degree Mustad hook. That hook works great for pitchin jigs on a MH rod with 12lb+ line. Shakey heads are fished on 6-8lb line with a ML or M action spinning rod. The thicker the hook the greater force it takes to penetrate their mouth. Just something to think about and if you want just about anything can be made? I could make a 1/32 oz shakey head with a 6/0 flippin hook and steel spring.

You are correct.  I call it power shakey head. LOL  I usually throw 1/4-3/8 and fish it somewhat fast.  Works great in rocky terrain
