am looking for a good pole to buy for basic crappie to medium size bass fishing.

which would be a pole that would meet the needs: a light pole or a medium light pole?

and what length: 6', 6'.6", or 7'?

i already have a few medium and heavy poles.

     I use a 6' ML  what length you use might depend on where you fish from

     If it is from the bank with a bunch of trees behind you and stuff then maybe 6'. If from the bank near trees in the water then maybe a 7'.

     I also use my 6' ML for bass and have caught several up to 4lb w/o a problem
