Avid warranty....

Got an Avid for Christmas. It was purchased Nov. 10, recieved it Dec. 25.

While registering it online on the 25th , I read a notice that stated it must be registered within 30 days of purchase. I e-mailed them to explain the situation, haven't heard back yet.

Are they gonna bust my stones ?

I'd be suprised if they would.  They're better than that.

Probably not. And I don't know if they could tell when it was really purchased unless it was from them.

I have had two replaced without receipts...no issues.

The rods don't do well being stepped on or lifting boats with a cleat.

In my personal experience with ST. Croix. I would say that they have some of the best customer service around. I've sent in a few flyrods and a baitcasting rod without filling in the warranty cards and have never had a problem. You will be extremly pleased with your avid.
