I have been hearing a lot  about round living rubber skirted jigs, I have always fished silicone skirts. Do u guys catch more with living round rubber or silicone skirts?

I'm with fourbizz on this one. I like how the two look together in that picture though. Never really notice if I catch more with one than the other.

Exactly, I like rubber when I want a small profile jig  

Both work but when making jigs silicone is easier.

ive noticed that flat silicone stays put under the o-ring better. ive had a few round rubber jigs before and the strands were always slipping out or getting uneven.

GMAN, what is the "time and place" for each?

I like round rubber because it sticks out when you trim is short.  Kind of like deer hair does.

If I am leaving the skirt at full length, then I don't care one way or the other.

A good jig maker ties the rubber on with wire instead of using an o-ring.

Ya but I get jigs from you so I'am ;D.  lol. Dsaavedra might not make the best silicone/living rubber jig but his hair jigs are pretty sweet guys.

and just so you know, i didnt make the rubber jigs, i bought them  

For jigs that have the bulkiest profile you cannot beat the ones the Earthworm77 sells at micromunch tackle. They are  hydrosilk or something like that? But for murky conditions they cannot be beat. I own just about every color silicone, round and flat rubber but for black flipping jigs his skirts are all I use.
