way ahead of you chief.

ordered mine on tuesday.

my buddy was fishing with us at clear lake on sunday and got a couple 4's  on a tough bite day with them.

Can anyone give me a guess as to how much the 6" weighs?

  • Super User

Mattlures Baby Bass is 5" and weighs 1.3 oz.

So, 1.3/5 X 6 = 1.56 oz.

That would be nice, but the 8" version is a lot heavier than your equation works out to.

I wish the thing was only an ounce and a half.....

You asked about the 6" bait.

(That's just a rough estimate anyhow. I doesn't address thickness or variance in the weight of the plastics used.)

Copy that, I got ya....I just figured the Hud would be considerably heavier than 1.5

I see your comparison and it seems fair, just off a bit.

the proto that i played with was probably about 2-2.5 ounces. not very heavy.

I would love to fish one of the Huds, but as soon as it hit the water a big toothy muskie would tear it up.

Falcon

I ordered mine on tuesday also, just got the confirmation that it was shipped out on thursday, so hopefully i'll be getting it soon.  Thanks bizz for letting me know, your such a bad influence.
