Wow! Definatley the most realistic bait i have ever seen.. ;)

Not only are those flies unbelievable, but this guy is the MAN!  Look at those fish he's catching on his flies, and some of those photos are amazing

WOW is an understatement! Those are some of the most realistic flys that I've ever seen! That guy sure has talent and a real knack for tying flys of all types. The turtle and grasshopper are fantastic, IMO.

Incredible work by him.  Does he actually sell those lures?

that guy does very nice work. i tried to follow the step by step for the house flies but it didnt work. i was talking to him once and he said that he was actually contacted by a movie producer and the producer said that they were going to do a scene where the character was staring at dead houseflies in a jar of honey, but they werent allowed to use real houseflies, so they asked him to make them some replicas to use and he made them for the movie:)

hes got some great stuff on there. heres a yellow jacket that i made once:

dsaavedra that is an awesome fly ;). What is the body and head material?

the body is actually yarn, but i soaked it in clear fingernail polish and then lit it on fire so that it would be hard and smooth (got rid of the fuzzies) and the head is just thread wraps built up.

they fancy ones arent made to be fished. you'll notice that on some of the more simple ones it wil say "fishable" somewhere. these are ones that are still realistic but are not as complex and delicate as the ones that are just for show. the fishable realistics will last as many fish as any other fly.

Holy cow he catches some monster fish! This makes me want to be a photographer.

I wonder how well those beautiful flies he makes holds up after a fish or 2, they look kinda fragile.

Who cares, I think his goal is the art of tying them! 8-)
