Sorry haven't used that one, but tell me how it works out...For braids I use power pro or fire line crystal, I know there is better, but they are pretty reasonable priced for me.

i have a friend who runs the fishing dept at Bass Pro and he recommends to his customers Power Pro. Ill have to ask him about that P-Line stuff. Based on some reviews ive seen PP is tops in the braid class.

PowerPro has served me very well.

That might be the 10th post I've ever seen DodgeGuy make.

It was the 3rd picture of FireLine I've seen.

I think he's pretty passionate about FireLine, but not without good reason. I've heard nothing but good things about it, I personally have only used PowerPro, but I have since strayed away from braid.

I could live without seeing that box again, it's tantamount to fishing gear proselytization.  An opinion in text form is sufficient.

How many times do you need to see a pic of the Mona Lisa to know what she looks like, 2 maybe 3?  Regarding a box of Fireline , the visual was  embedded in my mind after the first testimonial, just like Andy Warhol's can of tomato soup, once was enough to get the picture.

Perhaps using the Fireline box as an avatar or in the signature field may be beneficial as reminder for those viewing threads pertinent to other topics.

Hey Snook, I didn't mean to quote your post, it was supposed to be someone elses.

My apologies again.

the p-line braid is very similar to power pro , but right off the spool it seems a little softer . it is not as dark colored as most braids , almost like power pro after 10 uses , you know , faded a little . if power pro isn't available to you , this should be your next choice . and it's made from spectra ( same as power pro ) ... hope this helps  :)

thanks for all replies.

You never thought braided line would stir up the pot, did ya buddy?

Welcome to the forum.

Samurai braid is as good as it gets.  Suffix is a close 2nd.
