If it were me I would put my nicest reel on my jigging rod ( Calais ) and put the less nice reel on my frogging rod ( Cronarch ).

But since I don 't do a lot of froggin ' then I would put the Curado on the froggin rod and put the Chronarch on the cranking rod.

I agree, put the Curado on the frogging rod and chronarch on the cranking. I prefer smoother reels for cranking.

I use each one equally, the curado is used for carolina rigs so I have heavy floro spooled up.  All others Trilene 12lbs.

You know you've got some nice reels when your "less nice reel is a Chronarch". 

I think you should experiment until you get it how you like it. but try the Calais for cranking, and the Chronarch on your jig stick.
