Citica Steal

Featured Replies

hey guys, i bought a Citica for 75$ today and I'm trying to figure out what to pair it with.  I fish cranks, hogs, and senkos.  I was thinking about the new 7'2" Jig/Worm Skeet Rod or a Carrot Stick...I keep seeing these Bassmaster Classic commercials on ESPN and Skeet's using the Carrot.  I fish mostly Loomis and I'm a bit apprehensive about other rods.  I also liked the Shaw Grigsby Quantum Tour Rod, any suggestions???

where did you get a citica for $75?? was it new?

yea brand new...tackle warehouse gives a discount to college anglers on their respective schools team

Skeet's fishing a Lamiglas in the commercial but it does look like a carrot stix rod.

If you want a split grip, look at the Dolbyns.

I have a Champion 683C which would match

up perfectly with your Citica.

Thats an awesome deal! Does tackle warehouse give college discounts to students that dont have a team? I live in SoCal and havent heard of any colleges in my area with a fishing team.

thanks guys...i looked at the Dobyns and they seem a tad bit out of my price range...and the Lumiglas looks awesome...does anyone use one?

@id: not too sure, i'd call *** and find out...

Tackle Tour just did a review of the Lamiglas and gave it a nice review. Check it out. It's a sharp looking rod. Also Dobyns has the new Savvy series out starting at 150 I believe. Powell makes a nice rod as well starting at 139.
