Can anyone recommend a good reel for lake bass fishing?

Well thats a very broad question. How much do you want to spend, what kind of techniques do you use, and do you fish from a boat or from shore? Answering these will help anyone answer your question faster and better.

Which ever type of reel you can comfortably and effectively handle....spincast, open faced spinning, baitcast. They'll all work. Depends on your skill level and what your goals are.
