Which line would u perfer?

Recommended Posts

I never tried P-line but I'm impressed with XPS flourocarbon. I just got the #12 test for my carbonlite. I have yet tested the strength but the line itself feels and cast very smooth. So right now no complaints just hopefully the strength is strong.

PLine what? CX, CXX, Halo, Fluoroclear?

Hopefully CX or CXX. They are both great lines.

This.

I love InvizX.  Ordered a spool of Tatsu in 6lb today after fishing heavier line on a casting rod for a couple weeks now.  I'm in love with Tatsu, and may well be switching over to it across the board for fluorocarbon.

I have P-line CXX in 6# test on my spinning reel right now.

I pulled in a 20 pound tree trunk on it and the line didn't even snap....The stuff is ridiculously strong.

I have 17# P-line CXX on my baitcaster....still getting used to it,but I could probably pull my car out of the drive if it was on neutral. ;D

I had 12# test of BPS XPS and was very pleased with it.

Just remember neither line excels in terms of limpness...but they are both great line.If i had to pick right now P-line CXX gets my vote.

my vote also for CXX , i also have 6 lb. CXX on my spinning reel , have been switching between 8 lb. and 10 lb. CXX on my baitcaster . i really only use flourocarbon lines in open water for crankbaits . i just can't trust flouro for anything else unless you get into the bigger tests which ain't worth the hassle with line managability and memory issues , same goes for CXX in the bigger tests unless i'm just using either for leaders on braid  :)
