whats a better lure for spring crankbait or worm?? :-?

Everything works in the spring. Fish what you like and/or try to develope your skills with a new technique. Obviously, certain lures will be more productive under various conditions, but the bass are generally aggressive and will strike just about anything.

As a specific suggestion, in low light fish "moving" lures. Through the middle of the day, finesse presentations (soft plastics & jigs) may be more productive. Although I'm the kinda guy that sticks with a bait that I think should work, in the spring you should probably change up more frequently to find what's really hot.

In the early morning I like using softplastic, worms, senkos, lizards, etc,.  Then I go into jerkbaits and cranks.  By end of the day I'm back to softplastic again.  But normally when the fish are hungry in early spring it doesn't matter what you through, they will eat anything.

Well, even though it's not Spring yet, I went fishing last Saturday and we threw almost every type of lure that you can think of less topwaters and the only thing we had any luck with was watermelon 4" tubes on a jig and brown 6" worms with a spiral tail. Since the water was still pretty cold, we worked SLOW most of the day.
