Hey guys, i was wondering what reel i should get for fishing with finesse plastics. I also want the reel to be light.  My price range for the reel is from $100-$300. Thanks for any information.

You can usually find a shimano core on here for 270-300. Those reels are amazingly light and powerful. They also cast light lures like a dream.

Daiwa Sol or Fuego would be in that price range on ebay if you're talking baitcaster.

Any manufacturers spinning reel from Quantum, Daiwa, Abu Garcia or Shimano will fit the bill.

Finesse is quite a bit easier with a spinning rod, especially if there is any wind. Go for the Stradic CI4.

i can cast straight into the wind with my cores with unweighted plastics... its really personal preference the stradic is a fine reel also, its the only spinning reel i have and its for drop shot.. everything else is bc
