We all tackle enthusiasts know about that long cooperation between Daiwa and Megabass which has produced some of the most desired and collectible reels avaialable today, TD-Itö, M-Itö, Itö Monoblock, Alphas Itö and such, very desirable reels not only beacuse of their looks but also because of their performance.

And the super species was born.

But what does it mean exactly? Will they produce products like Megabass and Daiwa did?

From what I understand, yes.

Awesome but I doubt that its going to be as awesome as the Daiwa/Megabass joining was, Jackall doesnt even make reels so I'm assuming it will be basically Shimano reels with a little bit of JDM to them.

actually jackall does make rods, and most megabass reels are just suped up daiwas. hope this turns out to be a sweet venture shimano, i hope we see some of it stateside.
