If you're into pure JDM or KDM, look at the Shimano Scorpion baitcaster. Those who know live by them. This year, their models will be 200 and 300, so the 150s are becoming hard to find. I bought mine and have an aftermarket power handle on my custom Edge Blackwindow rod, and I love it. The power handle ups my LPI just a bit, so if I need to retrieve quickly, I can do it. Fits well in the handle. Against all my Shimanos, Daiwas, and Lews, this is a nice addition. Love to keep on buying, but with over 50 rods and reels, I'm hoping the wife never goes to my side of the garage, or I'm in it deep :-) I know they aren't JDM, but other great rods that rival any JDM rod are the St Croix Legend Xtreme, Edge rods, and Kistler. I've got too many to list, what an estate sale I'll be having when the day comes :-)
