Can get there without driving on gravel, except the ramp road.

I didn't know, I thought Sizzle said they drove for miles on gravel...

Here are some pictures and the video from the giant I caught at LaCygne this weekend. She weighed 10 ls 15 oz and released to fight another day.

Fished LaCygne Sunday- I started up lake and noticed quite a few boats in the river section. I pitched flooded brush and water willows for a while ending up with one fish about 2lbs.

What route do I take? Could go across K10 if that would be better than I 70. Just having trouble determing what county roads from Google maps.

k-10 to 59 to 458 to county road 1. Go west across the dam or east back into and around the big cove. Only gravel you have to go on is the parking area by the east ramp. You drive a bunch of gravel if you come up the southeast side. You can come up the southwest side and never touch gravel too.

Thanks blue, i 'm gonna try to get over there this week.

If you come up from the south you can go 56 to E. 550 north to N 750, to E 661 Diagonal rd or county Rd 1. The sign off 56 actually says Clinton Lake at the turn onto 550 but Lonestar is straight south of Clinton. If you take the turn off 56 that says Lonestar Lake, then you go down several miles of dirt roads and come in at the southeast end of the lake.

The time is TBD but I'm going to suggest to Raymond we shoot for something like 6 or 7 so everyone can get off work and have time to get there unless it needs to be earlier.

I went the country route.

Exactly. Don't take the route that says lonestar lake off of 56 or you'll be on gravel. 56 to 550 then come back east to the west ramp. It's a few more miles but no gravel.

So I guess Raymond's sons baseball game got postponed to Thursday night this week so this week isn't going to work so he wants to shoot for next Thursday on the 11th.

Is anyone planning on fishing Osage Saturday morning?

Very true....... the wives don't like it when you say that. Spending time with your child is a better way to say it.

Anyone interested in a 7' M/F BPS Carbonlite spinning rod? I traded a friend from work a couple micro-lite spinning rods but I really dont need the rod. Going to try to sell it on craigslist to fund a new casting reel but wanted to check on here before I posted it. Going to ask $50.

Exploring a new lake tomorrow, pretty excited. Only lake in the state rated excellent for largemouth and spotted bass.
