Here are some pictures and the video from the giant I caught at LaCygne this weekend. She weighed 10 ls 15 oz and released to fight another day.

Fished LaCygne Sunday- I started up lake and noticed quite a few boats in the river section. I pitched flooded brush and water willows for a while ending up with one fish about 2lbs.

Had another good day on Wolf today/yesterday/Friday, whatever you want to call it at 1am.

I could honestly care less if LaCygne will be crowded at this point. I need to be on the water so badly.

I haven't fished LaCygne or most of the other lakes in the area. I fish moving water preferably, but will fish one of my local lakes, Spring Creek Lake or Douglas County if I need a quick fix since I am shore bound for the time being.

You didn't buy the 74SV did you???? I sure hope not, because the units that end in 4's are loaded with the SALTWATER maps buddy!

Glad you made your way over to the forum man. Good group of guys here with lots of knowledge on the local lakes. I fish Douglas quite a bit every year because it's close and a great lake to go to when my wife wants to go. Spring Creek was pretty good but seemed to go downhill hard last year for some reason? Lots of fish, but no bigger ones anywhere.

I appologize in advance for Chris (kanasbassfisher08), he gets off his medication, or goes too long without ice cream and he gets pretty weird.

I can relate, too long without a good craft beer and I go nuts. Spring Creek is a small, silt-ridden mess. With that said, I did catch a few there last spring on an MB X-80 TD and lipless cranks. Despite what the shocking reports say, the lake doesn't fish like it should. They shock 5 pound bass each year, along with good numbers, yet the fishing is always mediocre. I was fishing it from my old canoe which I sold for various reasons. I'd love to hit it and DG County from a kayak though.

If I recall, you post on Ozark Anglers, right?

Yes, I post there along with a few other guys off here. I mainly lurk and wish I was fishing down there instead of around here though.

Good luck to anybody looking for a parking spot at lacygne tomorrow! Between Backlashers and every other tom dick and harry in the area, it's sure to be a merry-go-round  :laugh5:

I wonder how many guys will be throwing underspins haha

You couldn't pay me to go out there tomorrow after today. Only heard of 2 bass caught between all the boats today, both on minnows under a bobber.
