Liked the Indiana and Maryland threads so I thought I'd try to start one for the Buckeyes.

  My name is Dan, I live in Woodsfield in SE Ohio. I mainly fish the Ohio River, Seneca, Tappan, and Salt Fork lakes, and some smaller lakes like Monroe, Slope Creek, and Wolf Run. I have 19 1/2 ft Javelin bass boat and a 14 ft. aluminum. I belong to a small bass club that has about 25 members.

My names eric. Im from a small town in mid west ohio about 45 minutes north of dayton. I mainly fish small creaks and ponds, but about once a year i go down to south eastern ohio around zanesville and fish some state ground down there.

I'm Bill and I live in proctorville. I'm a Florida transplant and I fish ponds, the Ohio river, and several of the resevoirs in the Huntington WV area. I fish on foot and from a 14 ft. aluminum.

Hello my name is Bryan I live in Mansfield in North Central Ohio.  I mainly fish local lakes and reservoirs: Knox Lake, Charles-Mill Lake, Clear Fork reservoir and any other water I can get to.

I'm Don from Marietta. I fish mostly at the AEP Recreation Lands with my float tube and if I'm not there, then I'm wading at either Devols Dam or Lowell Dam on the Muskingum River.

Hello guys my name is Jay. I live in northeast Ohio. I tourney fish all over the state but, I can be to the Portage Lakes launch ramp from my house in about 8 minutes. I love the big lake and fish it often as possible. This year I will be fishing the X-series trail. I also fish smaller bodys of water and have a few honey holes I like to fish on foot. I really like our diversity of lakes in our state and Lake Milton is one of if not my favorite lake.

I'm Tim from Jamestown, about 30 minutes east of Dayton.  I fish a private lake called Shawnee Lake.  Got my first boat a couple of months ago, so I'm currently trying to learn those ropes.

For those who don't know the Medina area hatrix is not lying. EVERY OTHER HOUSE OR PROPERTY HAS AT LEAST A 1/2 ACRE POND. I would venture to say medina has more ponds per capita of any county (barring Florida) in the country.

This is partially for RiverFisher13, who sent me a PM but I can't reply because I don't enough posts yet, but it's for anyone else as well. RiverFisher13 asked about any advice I might have for the AEP Recreation Ponds and I'd say the first thing he and anyone else should do is go over to ohiogamefishing.com and look up the posts on the AEP ponds in Southeast section. After that, if you still have any questions, go ahead and send me a PM on that site (I have the same screen name there - thedon255) and I'd be more than happy to answer any questions.

I'm John from West Chester OH, just north of Cincinnati. Fish mostly ponds by foot but occasionally fish the little Miami for smallies. Going to visit Seneca lake in a few weeks, fishing from a pontoon boat. Any tips from those of you that have fished there would be great.

I am Andy. From Newark which is just east of Columbus. I am surrounded by rivers and lakes. Buckeye/Dillon Licking river Muskingum river. I will fish any water I can get to. I have a 16 foot tri-hull boat that is about to hit the water for first time in the next two weeks. The rebuild is almost complete.

my name is nick, i am in northwest ohio(defiance). there aren't many lakes around here so i usually go to indiana and hit the chain o'lakes. lots of ponds around here and one tiny lake(oxbow). i fish from a 03 nitro when i can find the time!

Yea we really do have a lot of ponds out here. Im basically surrounded by them from all sides. Just counting only my neighbors like adjacent to me there's like 8 i think. Plus my pond well mine is actually 2 cause there's like a 1/2 acre maybe a little bigger next to the 10 acre one. Also behind my house in the woods are 2 ponds next to each other that are decent size. So I guess for ponds I could walk to in like 5 min or less there's 12. Now if i actually got in my car and drove for 5 min its endless how many there are. I am actually right around the corner from spencer lake if any one knows where that is.
