Haha. Dont get frustrated.  You destroyed them last season.  I see no reason why that wont continue again this season.  We all hit tough spots every now and again.  The most important thing, for me anyway, is maintaining confidence in my approach.  Its amazing what you can do with just a little confidence.

Thats my self help speech for the evening....

I will try LOL. Thanks again for the help. I appreciate it. ;)

Just got back from Mill pond for 2 hours and got skunked AGAIN. Water temp dropped quite a bit to 54 degrees also. I threw the whole arnsenal at them and only one hit. I'm really struggling this year not sure what it is >;). I usually kill at this pond. I am going gonna hit some more different spots and hope that helps.

I was just going to head there to shore fish.. I guess I'll head to Arlington in Salem instead..

NHBASS, you said before that you go to island pond in pelham, where do you access?? I am in Windham and I go to cobbetts and canobie quite a bit, but when the ponds get busy I venture out of town.

Fun but somewhat frustrating day on Turee pond.C-rig drug across bottom with 1/4 ounce bullet weight and Stanley itzabug.Caught 16 in. LMB near boat ramp.Long but very thin.Pickerel were pretty active and this resulted in frayed line. Too lazy to re-tie.Hooked my largest LMB so far this year.Line gave way when the fish broke the surface.FRUSTRATION.Oh well, lesson learned.

Its a private access but I can get you out on it some Sunday if you wanted..

You might not catch the biggest but its alot of fun for quantity.. Don't get me wrong there are some nice ones in there, but quantity will be the thing there..

We've wanted to fish Cobbetts but that is also private, right??

Went to Calef today with some friends.  It was windy as hell.  Boated 7 total. I pooched two at the boat.  Not sure why, but Im on a little streak losing fish at the boat just as I reach down to land them.  I have to shake that and quick.  I didnt have trouble landing them last year from the inflatable.  All were caught on spinner baits, up against timber, on the deeper pockets.

I just wanted everyone to know that the NH get together still has plenty of room for anyone that wants to join us fishing on Friday May 14, 2010.

Please check out the thread if you want to come. No fee or anything like that, but we may decide to do a lunker pool if folks want to.

NHBASS, I can't do sunday, actually going out friday morning to cobbetts. Yes it is private, but as a resident I pay for a key that gives me access. Cobbetts is my favorite, no other place can match quantity and quality of bass, and I have been wide and far. If friday works for you let me know and we can work it so you can launch at the same time as us, if not maybe another day.

I wish I can go.  Darn work getting in the way of fishing again. >;)

got out for about 10 casts on the new boat today. I got a call after that and had to go.

Managed to catch a nice 2 pound LMB and a pickeral in those 10 casts. I wish I could have stayed a lot longer.

Spent a few hours on the CT River this afternoon. It was a dinkfest, but lots of fun. Two over 3 pounds,  three or four over 2, with 13 total. All on wood in 2-4 feet of water on a 1/4 oz Bitsy Bug. Lost/missed at least a half dozen fish. Gotta stop that!

Finally got a chance to spend 20 minutes on the water, I know its not much but I landed 1 toothy critter and a small brook trout using a small gold x-rap.  Hopefully I can get a reasonable amount of time to get some more fishing done soon ;)

I got out on my smallie spot tonight from 4-7 and caught 2 nice smallies and 1 big smallie. Also caught a good sized pickeral as well. All on senoks near wood in the water.  could not buy a bite on anything but a senko.

6 Pickeral and 2 bass. The bass were on jigs up near chunk rock. Largest bass was 2lbs 7oz. Pretty slow day fishing

I went out for about 3-4 hours today and yesterday. IDK what the deal is, but there seemed to be 0 fish activity at both places we went. Absolutley no bites. I did catch a perch today that was full of eggs. Other than that, I haven't been able to get anything. So far this year I've managed 1 bass. I'm pretty frustrated because I've been fishing all depths, looking for warmest water, fishing structure and cover, using many different techniques and presentations, and varying retrieves. Nothing is working. I'm absolutley dumbfounded. I feel like I'm fishing lakes where all the fish either A. Packed up and left, or B. All died.

Just got back from fishing in Sutton from 7:00am-1:30pm. It was cold and pretty windy on most of the lake, but I managed to catch about 15 LMB and 1 SMB. Biggest LMB was 3 lbs. Almost all were caught on senkos near wood cover or in the frist dropoff away from the shore. Caught the SMB on a perch fat rap and one LMB on a Mepps spinner. Pretty good day.

I feel your pain. The last 3  LMB I've hooked never made it into the boat. All were hooked on 3 different baits(Stanley itzabug,Fat Ika and Berkley lizard).Funny thing is I felt like I had a good hookset into all of them.

Went to Loon in Hillsboro from 7:30-10:30am.  Caught a grand total of 1 SMB on a joes flie spinner.  Water temp was 50 degrees

Went to Dublin early this morning for "opening day" on designated trout ponds and landed 7 brookies.  Went to Calef this afternoon for a little over an hour and landed 5.  Largest went 2-1.  Bass were up shallow, holding tight to cover.
