I'd throw a spinner bait or Rat-L-Trap & back that up with plastic  :)

well  right now there is still ice on the main lake so im throwing strictly jigs in deep water  once the ice clears    a jerkbait and spinnerbait

I typically have success with jerkbaits, traps, and spinnerbaits after ice-out.

Add soft plastics, jigs and some days, topwater!

in 45-50 degrees i catch most of my fish on jigs, deeper jerkbaits, dropshots, lipless cranks, and deadsticked senkos

On my first trip ill be throwing some type of plastic and a rat-l-trap or swimbait.  Cant wait for spring.

Jigs and Rattle Traps. I tend to stick to the basics. Jerkbait might not be bad either, but above 45 degrees the jig bite should really start coming on.

alrite but i have a question about the rat-l-trap. How fast is ur retrive..because i always thought that you should slow ur retrive down and i usually fish a rat-l-trap faster
