I talked with both the guide and several of his

clients on two different days during the Roadtrip

two years ago. I was very impressed by his candour

and his clients compliments under difficult conditions.

I know guys who have fished with Alex Davis http://www.spinnerbaitkid.com/ and all were happy with thier trip. I read all of his reports he posts on other sites and he produces a lot of good fish with photos to back up his reports.

Have been with Alex / "Spinnerbait Kid" 2 times, after doing lots of research on Guntersville guides.

He's very, very good at putting you on fish - seems to consistently outfish most other guides on Guntersville (both #'s and size), and he's a nice guy. Highly recommended.

Why was the experience so bad? That is the first thing negative I have ever heard about Troy. Just curious. I will never hire anyone but Doug Campbell anyways.
