Ineresting concept/lipless Vibe/Spinner combo

Featured Replies

Just found this one and thought I'd share ;)

Collaborated with jackall, Sawamura released high appeal wire bait. You can retrieve it much slower than other lipless crank baits.

Length 2.4 inch

Weight 3/7oz

Type Sinking

Hum looks like a Megabass had to surrender its hooks to a LC.

Deps+LC+Katsuage outbarb hooks sure make for an expensive set-up.

I guess it's nothing new really. You could pretty much do the same with the shaft of the original Beetle Spin.

Never tried yours though, I just wonder how well it casts.  :-?

I was at Dick's Sporting Goods the other day and rattle trap with a chatterbait blade on the front of it. Man, talk about some crazy vibrations.

I thought that the original chatterbait thumped the rod pretty good. I will be trying this bait out this season.

PlasticMan, I bought one of those Chatterbaits and the other one with the small crankbait on it. The smaller one works better. It seems that the blade size on the Trap model is too large for it to run right.

That spinner/lipless bait is old school and was marketed a long time ago. I used to have some, but I don't remember the mfg.

RW, I haven't tried that and probably won't. Too much going on to be a practial presentation. I don't use the Poison either, the Chatterbait knockoffs with the split ring connection for the blade gets hung up too much in timber.
