native Californian, SoCal area. Under the weather or I wouldn't be wasting my time answering this, should be on the water.

WRB

South Central CA here. Lake Isabella would be considered my home lake.

You can't say the So Cal bite isn't there. Mike Hart and John Zank just won a Nation Bass West tourny at Castaic with 5 fish for 31 llbs...big fish being over 8. The bite is there just have to find it. ;)

Nor-Cal X2

Nor-Cal X3, we try not to boast about how big the fish are out here.

I'm right up the street from you and I am waiting for the rain to come back.  I like not having to deal with other people on the water.  ;)

Break out the Senco's... Grin

It is forums like fishingnetwork and comments like the one above that direct droves of people to all of our little bodies of water.

I doubt that my posting a vauge report is driving hords of folks to lakes. Being that interweb reports are readly available to anyone who wants to see wahts going on at any lake in so.cal

Someone asked for info. and I gave them what I had. If you choose to sectretive fine, but I'll try and help any way I can, isn't that whay we are here.?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about pointing people in the right direction but there are so many people in southern California that just "lurk" the forums in search of the hot bite.  If they see that bass are bedding at a lake, they are going to go.  That is just my experience from dealing with the local forums over that last five or six years.  There is a reason so many guys blur out the backgrounds on the photos they post.  At any rate, I didn't mean for it to be an attack and I hope to run into you on the water some day.  :)

Hey Badog I fished with you and Hobieblue last fall at Holland Tract. On NCKA I go by shifty1 but sold my Yak and bought a PB. Still hitting the Delta but no more sore back and muscles. I'll keep an eye out for you and Hobie out there.
