One of my buddies just brought this to my attention ......

If you open Google Earth and let it settle on the USA.  Meaning let it do all it's adjusting until it's not adjusting anymore.  Then from that point zoom in all the way ...... It zooms in on the apartment building I lived in the last two years up at school.

What are the odds of that???? :D

So just what where you doing in that apartment building all that time huh? Do you secretely work for the CIA?  ;D ;D ;D

That is cool. Nice looking lake nearby. What is the name of it? Catch any good ones in it?

Big Brother was watching YOU.

What were you up to, anyway?

KUB, when I zoomed in it is focused on the prison in Leavenworth.  Are you sure that's where you lived???

Do you remember that thread about the aliens establishing colonies in the Great Plains? Rumors abound that they have settled in Lawrence. They are sometimes referred to as Jayhawks!

Who's on the other side of the camera?

I live in lawrence and didn't know if it just did that because thats where the computer was or if it did that for everyone.

I have lived in lawrence for 17 years and haven never seen an alien RW.

No need to fear these aliens though.  They were sent here on a mission ....... To seek and destroy all that is evil.

First stop ......... Columbia, MO. ;)

I also live in lawrence. to answer your question Keithscatch, the southern lake is Clinton Lake (know for its crappie and Big Flatheads) and the northern lake is Perry Lake (known for its crappie). We also have a few small lakes around here, like Lonestar, that have decent size bass, around 5-6lbs.

Shhhhhhhh.  Keep L.S. on the D.L. ;) ;D

Sorry Kieth I didn't see your question earlier, but what Got Bass said is right on.  Bass are few and far between in those two big lakes.

I heard the FBI and DEA are watching you. They have pictures of you unloading 2 kilos of gitzits from your car and taking them into your apartment.

Hmmmmm .....  That intially crossed my mind and thought maybe it centered on your region, but the friend that brought it to my attention lives in Florida now.  Kieth is from Florida as well.

Funny, mine says "No imagery at this zoom level".  Maybe the aliens left.

Did y'all know there is scientific proof of intelligent life in outer space?

They haven't tried to contacting any one on earth!   ;D

Ouch... that hurts!  If KU fans weren't enough, my soon to be nephew-in-law is a KSU grad, so when I see him it's all silver and purple >:(  Makes my black and gold skin crawl!

BTW, when I zoomed in it settled on some place near Compton Sq.  But then a tiger tail shot across my screen and closed Google Earth  ;) ::)
