OLD FART HAIR CUT?

Featured Replies

Welp, this was my week to get my hair tight and flat again at my barber, there was a daddy with his son and daughter in there and the daughter(wasn't shy) said "look daddy he's getten a hair cut like granpaw"

So I comment back that "Grandpaw gets a flat top too"

And the son said "no its not a flat top, its a Old Fart Hair Cut"

I almost got a free hair cut after that comment :(

So, there ya go ::)  The new sling for a flat top, anyone else support a dew like mine :-?  If so- are you at least still in your 30's like me? or do I need to get a time machine and go back where I belong ;D

Well, I've had a flat top for many years.

Now the part you probably didn't want to hear, I'm 58 and grandfather of six.

Does that make me an old fart? LOL

I'm 41 and have been wearing a flat top for since my mid 20s.  I like it.  It's cool.  And I can comb it with my hand.

I am 27, and have s'ported one ever since I was 18, the only difference is I don't have much of a choice and we don't call it a flat top we call it a high n tight. Just rename it if you want to feel better. ;D

Plus i'm going bald...flat tops and a bald head just looks funny....

I have a #2 and I love it, If this makes me and old fart then I love that too.

I've had a tight fade since my army days. It's not flat on the top though. My head can't support one.

I wore the Army Special so many years that now I feel weird if my hair is longer than 1/8 of an inch

The little lady gives me the buzz cut every saturday night so it will be nice and fresh for Church

Bald in my mid 20's. Now in early 40's. Love the low (no) maintainance. Don't know if I'd want to have hair again. (my wife might disagree) Friend at work is the same way. Mine is cut close all over with clippers. He goes to the barber to get a flat top. It doesn't work for him. Flat tops only really work when you have at least a decent amount hair on top.

This discussion reminded me of the time Ray Scott was talking to a fella that was going to be Billy Westmoreland's partner in a tournament.

"Don't say nothin' about Billy's hair.  It got blowed off in the war."

I pretty much have one but I dont comb it up.  It lays forward or sticks up when it wants too. I hate long hair.   I'm 28 and havent even hit my prime yet. ;D

every saturday I go to a turkish barber for a flat top.. he actually uses a straight razor on the sides... talk about low friction! and hides those grays VERY well  ;D  costs me all of 6 bucks... not including the tip
